Forest

general

The arena loosely referencing the Forest level from the OG Painkiller. We wanted to capture the dense, misty atmosphere of the original level while adding our own touches. This is an iteration of the arena from my onboarding level (link). Forest references the original Forest level from the Painkiller. The gameplay area is divided by three corrupted water swamps with the central landscape connecting each part of the arena – swamps forces specific movement and flow across the arena.

Environment art was done by Eryk Kossakowski and Radosław Gabiś.
